About Alisan Atvur
Alisan Atvur is a user researcher, designer, educator, and writer with award-winning experience in healthcare innovation, consumer electronics design, and financial service design.
Alisan Atvur is a user researcher, designer, educator, and writer with award-winning experience in healthcare innovation, consumer electronics design, and financial service design. He has shared professional lectures in eight countries and at universities including MIT , the Georgia Institute of Technology, and the California College of the Arts. He is a recurring guest editor of Touchpoint: A Service Design Journal and an advising researcher at the Copenhagen Institute of NeuroCreativity.
Before moving to Copenhagen in 2014, he held various positions in San Francisco and Atlanta. Most notably, he was a senior interaction designer at frog in San Francisco, the director of strategy at InReality in Atlanta, and chief humanist at Propelland.
His educational background includes research and classes in psychology, philology, and instructional design at the University of Oxford, New York University, the University of Georgia, Akademia Pomorska in Slupsk, and others. Alisan lives in Copenhagen, Denmark with his wife and child. He is a vegan, In his free time, he provides professional coaching to design students and junior professionals. He enjoys playing with dogs, restoring old devices, sharing chocolate, and collecting poetry.
